Welcome back Fall!

Yesterday was the last day of "summer". Last night a storm swept away the mild temperatures. When I woke up the sky was so black, I thought my watch was wrong. I thought they were five am! Tonight Piccolo was so frightened by the storm we did not slept a wink. He is already 11 years old and lives with us since few months. I decided to take this puppy at home to give him a few years of happiness. They told me that he spent most of his life in the rain, sun, snow. To the heat and cold. Now he's suffering from arthritis because of all these years living in these conditions, but we are taking care of him and now he's a little bit better.

However, yesterday we had a lot of fun in the woods. Piccolo was climbing (totally free!!!) between the roots and leaves with Dobby and Chopper and and I thought that he was happy..

I have 3 little friends that are living with me, with tiny nice furry-ears and very pretty tails!Within a very short time the black clouds are gone and the sun is back, but the warm air has given way to a nice and fresh breeze! Finally Fall! Welcome back! I'm so happy!!!

These are some snapshots taken yesterday in the woods and in the fields around ...

Ieri è stata l'ultima giornata di "estate". Questa notte un temporale ha spazzato via le temperature miti. Quando mi sono svegliata il cielo era così nero, che ho pensato il mio orologio fosse sbagliato. Pensavo fossero le cinque del mattino! Questa notte Piccolo era così spaventato dal temporale che non abbiamo chiuso occhio. Lui ha già 11 anni e vive con noi da poco. Ho deciso di adottare questo cucciolo per regalargli qualche anno di felicità. Mi hanno detto che ha trascorso la maggior parte della sua esistenza sotto la pioggia, il sole, la neve. Al caldo ed al freddo. Ora lui soffre di artrosi a causa di tutti questi anni vissuti in queste condizioni, ma lo stiamo curando e ora lui sta un po' meglio.

Comunque, ieri ci siamo divertiti un sacco nel bosco. Anche lui, assieme a Dobby e Chopper si è arrampicato tra le radici e le foglie secche (totalmente libero) ed ho pensato che fosse felice!

Ora conoscete qualcosa in più di me.

Ho 3 piccoli amici che vivono con me, con delle belle orecchiette pelose e delle codine niente male!

Nel giro di pochissimo tempo le nubi nere sono svanite ed il sole è tornato ma l'aria tiepida ha lasciato spazio ad un venticello frizzante! Finalmente l'Autunno! BEN TORNATO!
